Desi Punjabi Gur (Jaggery) – Gur (jaggery) is a natural product of sugarcane. It is in a more unrefined form than sugar. It is a brown raw mass of sucrose. Jaggery is brown, pure, and unrefined cane sugar, well-known in India under its common name Goor or Gur. Jaggery or Goor/Gur – is often used for sweets or as a sweetener for the classic Chai.
